I personally know CJ Ryan also. Great man for the job. Here are the facts on him.
Ryan ran successful anti-fraud and burglary enforcement programs for the Sheriff's Office prior to his transfer to the Muscatine County Drug Task Force. Ryan's years at the Task Force have been the most productive in the unit's history, amassing impressive seizure and arrest statistics, as well as an award for Investigative Excellence from the Midwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area.
Ryan is a former Executive Board member of the Iowa Law Enforcement Intelligence Network, and still belongs to that organization. He's also part of the Iowa Narcotics Officers Association and other law enforcement associations.
Ryan grew up in Tipton and is a 1984 graduate of Tipton High School. He attended Mt. Mercy College in Cedar Rapids.
He and wife Susan have three children and five grandchildren.
