Muscatine

Does anyone know when the city egg hunt at weed park is?  Is it tomorrow? I know MUSCO is having one tomorrow

  There has NEVER been a "City" Easter Egg Hunt!  The Local VFW Post 1565, in Muscatine, has sponsored a Easter Egg Hunt, for the past 30 years, that I know of, and, probably LONGER, @ Weed Park, @ around 9am on the SATURDAY BEFORE Easter (tomorrow).  Since the Veterans are getting older, AND, the People who SHOULD be joining up, and AREN'T, I don't have a clue as to whether or not there IS one tomorrow!  I looked in todays' Muscatine Journal, and, DID NOT see ANYTHING listed for the City Wide Easter Egg Hunt.  You could call KWPC (Ron Edwin), tomorrow morning, and see if he knows anything.  Have a HAPPY Easter.  Tom.

My kids are all grown now so we do our Easter hunts a bit different. This evening I'll go out and hide cans of Bud all over the yard. After being out all night they will be good and cold in the early morn. Since I'm old and senile, I'll forget where I hid them and get to join the hunt too. Good times.

LOL, nedl!  Next year, add an egg for the kids & tell them they CAN keep the egg, but  need to share any cans found w/ you & you'll give them a nickel!  BRILLIANT!  "No applause for the idea, just send "full" cans!"  ROTFL!
