After I figured out how to navigate to "Musser Public Library", I was fine with it.  There were a LOT of pictures of interest to me.  Has anyone any pictures of the old Opera House by Trinity Church on 2nd St.?  After ALL these years, until now, I NEVER realized that the theatre AmuzeU (sp?), was just that.  I thought that the spelling was alot different, and NEVER realized that it said/meant Amuse You!  God am I lame!  I always thought that it was the Musuew (sp?) theatre.  I also didn't see any pictures of River Boats, like the Avalon (which use to give afternoon and/or evening 3 hour trips down river (remember?).  I was in high school (I think) then.  MAYBE gradeschool.  Born in Bellvue Hospital.  My Mom worked in the lab, in the basement (entrance on alley), for Sparky Vanderplough.  God, how did I EVER remember his name?  That, was 50 years ago!  I had a friend whose Grandmother was in Hershey Hospital several times (I went with him to see her).  Park Lane Golf Course?  2 blocks from Geneva Golf and Country Club (on Mulberry).  Was in Boy Scouts at the Knights of Columbus, where Mark Twain OverLook is now.  God, those were the more peaceful, quieter days, even though every block downtown had 2-3 taverns on it, and Saturday Nite Live WAS!  My grandkids will NEVER experience the "better things in life", even though, I SURE that they think they are!  All the screaming and yelling, and lack of respect for anything and anybody is just getting too much for me anymore.  I often wonder who's gonna support the grandkids when we're gone?  Won't be welfare, cause the parents (IF there are two of them), have to be on a steady payroll, or, a payroll at all, for that matter.  I'm sorry, but I'm BITTER, being retired, and, having to work a full-time job (after retirement), and still have NOTHING to show for it!  Anyway, NICE PICTURES.  Thank you for sharing this site.  Tom.
