The plow went down our street sometime in the night, and got me stuck in my driveway because my car will not clear the ice chunks they plowed up. I do not mean to soun unappreciateive but this has put us in a bind. Our car will not clear the boulders of ice the city put there. I almost missed work today because of it. Beign Presidents day the bus was not running. I was fortunate enough to find a friend who was going my way at the last minute. Why did they plow the street to get the ice off in the middle of the night? Atleast if I could have gotten to it when it was freshly plowed I could have removed some of it.

Hey at least they plowed the street where you live, that is more than many are getting. Some of the side roads and alleys are just awful. I guess spring will take care of it tho.

Give me a break. You would be screaming if they didnt plow your street. How hard do you think it is to make everyone happy with the plowing and dealing with the ice and snow? I am glad you got to work but really now, how do you propose the job be done better?

I would welcome them to come to my alley and I would be glad to shovel my driveway after they were done. If you don't have 4 wheel drive you have a very hard time going thru this alley and even with 4 wheel drive it can be tricky as it is all ice.
