Response to BB
I was FED up last night & swore I wasn't coming back; but felt the need to read your response? (Human Nature, I guess!). All the other posters reponded the way I thought they would, except for you, BB.
I have questions that you & others may not like. ''Why are there so many hateful posts, & why are they allowed to post, with a LOL or whatever?'' Some posters are afraid? We want to post, but are worried about the responses? Do we want this board to grow, or to stagnate? ''The same posters, the same opinions, ya-da-ya-da''?'' OR DO WE WANT IT TO GROW with new opinions? I have attempted to be a part of your world. I'm not accepted. I get that!
My problem is this...none of you seem to have a problem calling another out because of a stance they had in the past? You guys wanna live in the past? Ok, I get it.
I GET IT, I GOT IT... I'm not afraid to be blasted on my own beliefs.
There are some that HATE ME because I post what I believe, with what I read TODAY, NOT YESTERDAY/YESTERYEAR?
I am who I am. ''I say what I mean & I mean what I say, with what I read today''. I may feel bad & wish I hadn't posted the words I typed, especially if I feel I've hurt another. I'm not perfect & I don't expect perfection from anyone on this board. What I HOPED to find was compassion & empathy from my neighbors.
You & I may disagree about our candidate of choice, BB...it doesn't mean that either of us need to become enemies.
I'm ready to leave this board, BB. These are my questions to you. I'm an idiot. I don't have all the answers, but I ABSOLOUTELY feel that for this board to continue, other posters need to be accepted & appreciatiated, w/out cutting them off @ the knees. IMVHO. There are some very hateful & mean-spirited people that would choose to attack the jugular w/ a new poster on this board. I hope you guys will protect them? It's a neighborhood site & I truly hope it can continue. I'm just not sure it can with the animosity that is here. The board is yours, guys.
