Well, well...
Another big liberal loss even, supposedly with, the new alleged ''we have had enough''; ''we want change'' mantra from the democrats.
Louisiana liberal governor did not run when her support plummeted after her administration's stumbling rescue and recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina.
Bobby Jindal, 36, an (Mideast) Indian-American and an Oxford-educated conservative Republican, won more than 50 percent of the vote. He takes over from Democrat Kathleen Blanco, who had defeated him four years earlier. Blanco chose not to run after heavy criticism of her performance with Katrina.
Looks like the state of Louisiana just sent a message...after all you liberals tried to blame Bush and defend her for her Katrina failures.
Most interesting. How will they respond towards president on Feb 9th?? He won 53% of the vote over his closest dem competitor at 18%!!!
Where's that new democrat message for change???

Blanco
Blanco's problems have less to do with her being a Democrat than they do with her doing a pi*s poor job of dealing with Katrina. Of course, hindsight is crystal clear, and we all think we could have done better.
Bush, too, has some responsibility in the failure in Louisiana after Katrina. His ineptitude is at times, overwhelming.
Katrina is Blanco's ''Iraq''. She failed miserably, and it cost her her job, and it hurt her party. She had defeated Jindal in the 2003 election. Katrina will be her legacy, just as NCLB and Iraq will be the legacy of GWB.
