Ok folks, MY turn to vent (even though, I NEVER do!). Last night (Wednesday), I watched the last 15 minutes of ''Law & Order'' (on channel 6), while I was waiting for the 10pm News to come on. A retail Company, with what APPEARED to be the EXACT same name badges as Wal-Mart was being portrayed as knowingly shipping/selling poisoned toothpast ALL over the United States (from China), because of an INTERNAL coverup by that Company. The name of the store was even (something, something MART)! I'm sorry, but, today, I am going to contact the home office and see of NBC can be sued for defamation of character. You'd HAVE to be an idiot, living in the jungles of Africa not to know that they were talking about Wal-Mart, or, at least PORTRAYING Wal-Mart! Wal-Mart gets ENOUGH bad press for what is preceived as wrongdoing let alone to have a ''popular'' TV show mimic their associates/buyers/etc. It's too bad that Wal-Mart has to defend itself against such BS, but, I CERTAINLY hope that they do. I'd LOVE to see a hit TV show get sued over defemation (sp?) of character, because the portrayal was just too close as to be a Target, or a K-Mart! No MATTER what YOU think of Wal-Mart, I just don't think that it was right. WHAT if they had portrayed YOU with such authenticity? Off my box now.......Have a GREAT day! Tom Milder.

Yea..Walmart suing NBC..tough to find a jury pool who could be objective, as I'm sure neither Walmart nor NBC (NBC being 80% owned by G.E.) would get a lot of sympathy from any juror.

Just what we need...another dumbass lawsuit.
