C'mon

first off, I would think that frontline has a better reputation then mrs. meyers. Besides that, I did not just pick up the enquirer. I am a constitutionalist and I do not care about parties. I care about America, the constitution, and the bill of rights. the forefathers laid out the rules, which the government is to follow, in order to remain a free country. The government has been passing laws, policies, e.o's, p.d.'s and judgements that have been attacking the constitution and the bill of rights. It is a fact, just go and look they are registered documents. you can check what frontline aired, did you go looking to see if it was true. I read books, check documents, watch videos, check web sites and do the research. what was it like in the 70's. let see, I could go to mexico and the caribean without a passport, my car could not be searched without the officer seeing contraban, a phone tap required a warrant, no talk of a national I.D., the search of my home also required a warrant, we had no prisons in foreign countries, we had lots of manufacturing jobs, there was no european union, no african union and no threat of a north american union. This is true, agreed. so tell me what is fun about the lost of freedom. still don't think freedom is slipping away. I do and so do many others. So if you are right what do you win, nothing life goes on. what if I'm right what do I win, nothing I just lose my freedom and so do you! It is worth taking a serious look, don't you think. what say you!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care if you're a constitutionalist or a communist. That's beside the point. You ended the original post as you always do with the words ''what say you.'' So I told you what I say. Now you're trying to turn this into an argument by comparing modern day to the seventies. Of course things are different. Nobody is saying they aren't. I'm not disputing that this administration is wiping it's backside with the constitution. They have been doing so since September 11, 2001. I'm as pissed about it as anyone. Trust me on that one. However, I am disputing the fact that Bush and Cheney are trying to take over the country as part of some diabolical plan hatched by Cheney in a bunker under the White House. To do something of that nature would require more than the passage of laws and executive orders and you know that as well as I do. It would require the replacement of the entire judicial system as well as the complicity of the entire military in order to enforce it. I'm simply saying that I don't see that happening. If you don't want others to give their opinions, stop ending your posts with what say you.

But I'll tell you what... If, in November, everything you've speculated on comes to fruition, I will gladly come on this board and start a new thread entitled ''mobaydave was right and I was wrong.'' So... What say you?
