Cold weather, dark & dreary days have always been a challenge for me.
After my mean family has kicked my lazy butt out of my nice warm bed, I mutter about the freezing weather all the way to work.
There is a bonus in my life. I work downtown & have a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. We are all so lucky. I work all different hours, so have been blessed to see the sun rise & set over the river.
The last few days, we've all been watching the eagles. IF YOU GUYS HAVEN'T taken advantage of getting out and seeing this, PLEASE DO! There were so many out today!
I never go home with a frown on my face. I'd rather be watching the kids in that fountain, playing, screaming & running around, joggers in shorts, people walking their dogs; SIGH! Today, we watch the eagles...the rest will come.
(That doggone groundhog better tell us winter is almost over or I'm hiring a hitman)! LOL! Anyone else out there willing to donate to that cause? :-)!
