BD for Friday

One of my recollections as a child is my father taking me to the barber shop under the YMCA and paying 50 cents to have my hair cut. What a bargain that was.

Instead of doing the BD post you may get more posts by asking for more of the recollections. Let's see what happens. It will be interesting! Truth, rumor, or just good stories!!

Lionjack, I haven't been on this site much lately. You know why. Your recent BD was about seeing a reflection of an old man in a window. It made me sad. You are wise, kind, compassionate & giving. Those gifts come with age. The reflection you see; the wrinkles we are blessed with come with the knowlege that our bodies are mortal. Our souls are not.
fyi2 has a good point. Keep posting & share your memories. My grandma & her sisters got together & shared their memories, wrote them down to share with all of us. It's a treasure to us all.
You are NOT an old man. You have much to share. Forget the image in the mirror. I continue to see new wrinkles every day in the mirror. My heart & words have so much to share. So do you.
