Muscatine

I have looked back on each year of my life hopeful that I can live the new year in a cheerful way. I have tried to be kind to others and to avoid conflicts and yet when a conflict occurred I was more than ready to do battle. I want to be more reverent this time and yes I want to be more giving of myself to help others any way I can?….that is the Lion in me. My parents instilled those values in me and I think gave them courage to send me away as a first grader to live away from my siblings in order to give me an education. I have outlived my father and still have a long way to go to outlive my mother.
