And speaking of  beer, does anyone have any newly tested brews that would take the edge off of a hot summer day?  I enjoyed a Great Lakes Brewery product the other day called Edmund Fitzgerald beer.  It's a dark porter, almost like a bar of dark chocolate in a bottle.  Excellent with a good cigar.

I find the Linenkugels (sp?) Summer Shandy to be a bit too lemony for me. Bud Lime is pushed as a summer beer, but I don't drink Budwieser products since the Belgians bought them out.  A Corona with a slice of lime is always a good seasonal choice.

Summer beers......now there's a topic.  I'd suggest the Sea Dog Blue Paw Blueberry Pale Ale.  Outstanding, and Hy-Vee carries it.  I also had a couple of Wisconsin beers last week that were made with a hint of cherry.  Very good, but can't recall the name.  Will try to get back to you on that one.
