get your facts right....

Osama is a he not a they. Therefore go back and get the voting records and see where he votes not what ''THEY'' the city council have approved. He might not vote the way you want it everytime but then again other than you who would vote exactly the way you want.

So instead of whinning like a girl go do something about it. Similar to what you end your post with...HMM

I have done something about it when I have a concern I sure as shit don't bring it here I go to the source. I have e-mailed and spoken to all the city council members on several different issues.

I can tell you this Howard, Press, and Osama always answer me quickly with my concerns. Fritzgerald who is my alderman has yet to ever answer any e-mail I have sent ( 5 of them this year). I will never vote for that waste of space on my city council.

Before you give me the old why don't you run for office. I don't want the public scruntity of the goings on in my life. But if I knew how you stood on things I may vote for you. If you want I would even be your campaign manager.

Uh, Shihadeh DID vote for police

It is too bad that the internet allows people to say whatever they want... and never let the truth interrupt a good rant. I quote from the Feb. 22, 2007 Muscatine Journal:

''During a public budget review session attended only by Council members and the media, councilman at-large Osama Shihadeh proposed squeezing funds for the officer from a 2 percent cut from all city departments?’ non-personnel expenditures covered in the general fund.

Shihadeh?’s motion for a new police officer failed after it was backed by only three of six council members present. Bob Howard, representative at-large, and Bob Bynum, 4th Ward, voted with Shihadeh.''

The original poster obviously knows nothing about the the actions of the individual council members and how they vote, yet seems in quite a hurry to show everyone just how uninformed he/she is.

The only recourse we have is once exposed as an unknowing and unreliable source, no intelligent person will put any credence to his/her opinions.
