How old are you my friend(may I call you my friend)?? Not very old, I suspect. Let me ask you this. In fact, let me ask ALL OF YOU this. Do you really think 40 years in federal prison is rational for selling some pot? That would mean that 90% of us would be dead before this guy got outta prison, if he made it that long. He probably wouldn't seeing how his cellmate would probably be a multiple murderer or rapist or child predator.

Let me add this

Most people that go to a federal prison for drugs, don't normally go to a max. security prison they go to a places that are federal camps. They are pretty much like old military bases, they live in dorm like housing, however I hear the food it bad. So bad that the side of the boxes that the food comes in says ''not made for human consumption'' So even if you don't get the death penalty for your crime they just slowly poision you anyways.

Now also check out www.famm.org the reason people get so much time in prison is not because a judge says so. They have a mandatory min. The judge has a list of points they have to go off of to tell you how long you will be there. I for one do not think this is fair at all. A person that commits murder can be out of prison before a person that had a little of any sort of drug on them or someone that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Also it now only takes 2 people to say your name as a dealer even if you are or not and you will spend min of 7 years in prison on conspiracy.

Fair? So the average pot dealer gets 15 -40 years, and the average child molester and person convicted of 2nd degree murder gets less than 12 years. Still think it's fair/ i'm sure you do.
