Good evening. This is the NL week in review, brought to you by Rexitall. When your life is going so well, you can't take it anymore, try ''Rexitall''!! 3 doses daily and you're seemingly normal life will become overwhelming and unpredictable!! And remember, Rexitall is manufactured by small Chinese people who get paid nothing, so you know it's safe.
Now, here's your ''Weekly Rewind Review''

2 Cents welcomed us with a ''Happy Sunday'' on the 19th. Very little response, which leads us to believe everyone was making some ''happy sundaes'' of their own, perhaps at Friendly's, with that really hot waitress!!
Tom Milder introduced us to Pandora...Radio, that is. Similar to MusicMatch, but maybe a step up. What I love about these sites is one band leads you to another that you may have forgot, which is great for our failing memories.
Herman let us know that he read an article in the Des Moines Register, which prompted several people to question, ''Herman can read?!''(just kiddin' Herm).
''I Love Horses'' announced that she does babysitting on TWO different shifts. The ''Ooohh, what an adorable child'' shift, and the not so popular ''GET THIS PLAYDOUGH EATING, MACARONI MOWING SNOTTY NOSED ENDLESS JABBERBABBLING LITTLE MONKEY MONSTER OUTTA HERE...and we'll see ya tomorrow'' shift. We also love horses.

The NAACP stirred emotions when the Atlanta branch came out in support of Michael Vick, who has plead guilty to Federal charges of bankrolling dogfighting and the killing of numerous dogs. When asked for a comment on the case, a spokesman for the NAACP said, ''It's not so much the wild dogs we're worried about. It's all those stray pussy's we need to protect.''
Decoder Rings, once popular surprises in boxes of 'Cracker Jack' and in the back of comic books, seem to be making a comeback, as indicated in several posts of late. For the latest Decoder Ring technology and info, hook up with frazz or 2cents, but be careful of the secret compartments that contain 'funky powder'.

The crowd became infuriated when an officer of the local police force took another job...and his trusty canine with him. While several posts touched on the subject of re-training the dog being costly(6,000 bucks, I think), and others like myself thought he should take the dog, no one asked this question. How much would it cost to by a new dog for the new K-9 officer? Probably less than the training.

And finally, once again the Midwest was ravaged by storms, producing heavy rains, high winds, tornados and widespread flooding. Which begs us to wonder.
Is this just the way it is, or is their a bigger picture we're not seeing? I can remember the streets and ditches flooding as a kid, but that was usually do to poor drainage and sewer systems along the streets I grew up on(Logan and Houser), not an excessive amount of rain. I vaguely remember being in the St. Louis Arch when a tornado popped up. Now, I'm not saying that we haven't been plagued by terrible weather in the course of history. I mean, c'mon!! We all know about Noah's Ark, right. And then their's the burning bush.
But if you stop and look around, if you take a deep breath, and hopefully don't choke on the processed smell of grain or molten rubber, you'll see that the higher power at work here is you and I. We drive the cars, we need the fuel, we want the toys!! If we didn't need and want so much, we wouldn't NEED AND WANT SO MUCH!! And the world would be a better place.

not really trying to be too serious here, just havind a little satirical fun.

peace y'all.
Stoned one

Loved it, I think you should make this a weekly event. Better than a thumbs up/down from Siskell & Ebert.

''Weak'' in Review

I agree, it's a great idea. You must have done some writing somewhere along the line? Keep up the good work. BTW, some jerk in Indiana won the powerball 300+mil......I can't imagine how many people that I would have told to kiss my aXX, if that would have been me. It would have been pages long. Boy, do I have a list.
