the so called war

on drugs is in fact a attempt to weak our constitution. it also generates a lot of money in confiscated cash and property. Drugs being illegal is like alcohol being illegal. Prohibition does not work. It funds street gangs and cartels. It causes a commodity to be in the hands of the black market, which is not paying any tax. It brings drug manufacturing into your neighborhood. It brings police, with guns to shoot drug makers and dealers, into your neighborhood. It fills our prisons and courts with these cases, which drains our system. It has taken away some of our rights too. This war is no where near wining. To me, this is America and I should be able to do what I want so long as not to bother anyone else, right. Why should my tax dollars go to arresting someone who gets high. How does that bother anyone but HIS family and friends. And the Nazis comment comes from the whole atmosphere about the war on drugs. drugs are so bad we need the government to protect us. C'mon for real, cause I think that the child predator problem is way (bleep) important then someone getting high. Next time you slug a good ole drink of your favorite barley pop, just think about what you would do if it became illegal tomorrow. Would you give it up, think it was ok to kick your door in and point guns in your face. To have your car searched when you are stopped by the police. How do you like taking a p--- test to get a job. It is cause of the war on drugs. The test only catches potheads, coke and meth leaves the body in a couple of days. What would happen if drugs were legal tomorrow. Would everybody run out and try drugs, would the world spin out of control. Would you run out and try drugs if they were legal. So why are they still illegal. Just go and see how much prison space would be freed up. Go look and see how much of our courts would benefit. The task force could then focus on child predators. win win. what say you!

If ur aware that the law enforcers (i.e.,cops,prosecutors etc.)are weakening our constitution (and they are)then realize as i do that this isn't America anymore. btw,the drugs will continue to flow as long as law enforcement profits from it, they will see to that.

Option tax

The option tax was specifically originated for south end sewer improvement and was to end after that project was completed. The language of it was quite specific for this but you will never see the original project completed or the tax end.
