Maybe I should start going again. I enjoyed the one about the mansion just over the Hilltop. Didn't know there were any mansions on Whicher St. Must be talking about the Catholic Church.

I'll take the bait. I don't get it. You must live on Whicher??? (AKA ''Roller Coaster Road'' back in the day! Back when it was a through street . . . Aaaah the good ol' days . . .)

but with my line of work gets me very familiar with the lingo of the town etc. Slough Town, 4th St. Reservoir, the tunnel under Weed Park Lagoon (never went there!), etc......Oh, and the High Bridge falling down in...'56?
