Re: Host State Conference Committee Participant Survey

Preliminary 2008 Conference Dates:
 Tuesday, September 23rd – Thursday, Sept. 25th
 Alternate Date(s) - Tuesday, Sept. 30th – Thursday, October 2nd

The 2008 “Annual Conference Committee” is conducting this Survey to receive input from those attending or sponsoring individuals to participate in this conference.

Your input will be included in the overall decisions to be made of potential conference Speakers, Presenters and Workshops to be held. If you have any additional ideas for possible presentations not mentioned in this Survey please provide this feedback in the NOTES section. This conferences’ success will depend not only on the participants, but what type information they receive that could be used or put into effect in their respective areas.

It is our desire to have presenters that are providing information that could be used in Rural or Urban areas. We hope that most information presented can/will be used in conjunction with community, neighborhood groups and/or partnerships with other entities that could assist in achieving the goals of the Legal Services Client Councils and communities/organizations they represent.

We anticipate doing (2) separate Certifications which require (1-2) Full Days of Training to complete and receive the certifications. It is our hope that through these Certifications Board Members will leave with concrete information that will give them the ability to move their communities, organizations, boards, and/or client councils forward which is integral to beneficial changes that improve the healthy, safety, welfare and quality of life of the Clients they represent. It is Region VI Client Council’s goal to educate, inform and motivate those attending and this will be achieved through your support and input.

Please provide your responses/answers to the questions below to assist us in ensuring that this conference is not only enjoyable and educational but also informative and beneficial to those who participate. Thank you for your support and continued dedication to the disadvantaged.

Sincerely,

2008 Host State Conference Committee
