I just talked to our President (Art Gandy) today Feburary 14, 2008 and asked him about the issue with Section C not being written into the Plat Book. He said Section C is not included, or part of the Northwood Hills Property Owners Association due to a paperwork mistake. I asked him if Section C's Plat Book can be amended by default, and he said ''there is nothing we can do about it''. If you don't know where section C is, it is the section, as you are driving into the neighborhood from the main entrance, when you come to the first stop sign, make a right turn, and you are in Section C. The man who was so instrumental in starting the NWHPOA, Chris Tong, lives in Section C. Section C backs up to HWHPOA houses as well as the 4 acre wooded area. Section C gets the benefit of the two beautiful Planters in the main entrance. I managed to catch Art while he was walking his dog, nice man.

Does that mean that people in section c aren't required to pay dues?

Yes, the homeowners of section C will not have to pay dues because section C is not a part of the Northwood Hills Property Owners Association.  All of the other sections have "line 12" written into the plat-book.  Section C does not due to a clerical error that needs to be corrected.  It is clear and obvious that section C is Northwood Hills and does lie within the main bounderies of the neighborhood.  It is a clear conflict of interest that section C was not included.  This is not fair.
