I now receive great quality images on the air for high definition digital TV via antenna in my attic. More channels are available at night than during the day. However, reception is lost if the signal strength drops below a threshold requirement.

But, Wow! it's like DVD or VCR quality when the signal gets through. I get WLOX 13-1, 2, and 3 all the time; WYES 12-1 at night; Fox 8-1 at night; WWL 4-1 at night; WUPL 54-1 possibly at night; WHNO 20-1 day and night. Other channels seem to also be just below the threshhold.

The HOA need to consider putting up an antenna that catches and repeats the signals for reception by the neighborhood antennas. The new park area would seem to be a good location for the antenna.

Thank you for the info. We had the major channels thru Dish Network, but they have all been dropped. It is really upsetting to not be able to get the major channels. We tried an additional antenna on the roof, then in the attic, but it didn't work. We will now try it on our shed, as we can get these channels from our camper (believe it or not). Thanks again.

Al, the one thing that bothered me was when you said ''When the Signal Gets
Through''! Do you believe that a centralized antenna would cause this to
occur? It would be interesting to know how many of our Homeowners are on either Cable, Direct-TV, or Dish-TV, Bell-South or whatever else is available. I am sure that the antenna that you are talking about doesn't receive the channels that these others do. I installed a separate antenna on
my roof for local channels, ie #13 & #5 and it works fine. I would like to
hear more about your project.
