About our association

Brief History of the Miramonte Neighborhood Association

The residents of the Miramonte Neighborhood, bounded by Country Club Road, Speedway Boulevard, Alvernon Way and 5th Street, formed a Charter in 1992. The purpose was to allow the inhabitants of the area to have a stronger voice in City issues that affect us. Since then, we have participated in numerous discussions with City officials and staff, and the Ward VI council member.

Among our projects are relandscaping the city well site on 5th St. between Camino Miramonte and Country Club Rd., creating the 3rd St. bike crossings at Country Club and at Alvernon, and establishing the Miramonte Neighborhood Park at 3rd St. and Richey Blvd.
