VACATION CAUTION


When we leave town for a week or even for a couple of days, our plan is to turn off the water to our whole house. Why? Because in May we left for vacation and our refrigerator sprung a leak resulting in a lot of damage! Thank God for good neighbors who called us and turned off the water meter at the street. Our insurance company cooperated and in a month all repairs were complete. We think turning off all the water in advance of a trip is a WISE move!
