Mid City Neighborhood Council

In other parts of the city, there are parking signs limiting when cars can be parked in certain neighborhoods (i.e. parking from 8AM - 6PM only; No Parking without permit after 6PM, etc.) In my neighborhood (Washington/Redondo), there are random cars on our streets at all hours of the day and night. The only restriction is during street cleaning. My neighborhood would definitely be safer if parking were limited to residents only. How do I attempt this kind of change?

I agree- there should be restricted parking. It would help get the bad element out of the area. There should be NO parking allowed for cars with no permit. Since we are so close to the 10, we get a lot of transient people coming through and parking.

I hope that our council reads this and takes this into consideration. The area that is affected is Redondo area from the 10 to Washington Blvd.
