Construction Update

Wondering Why we have more traffic all of a sudden? Wondering when is it all going to end? , Be Patient :) Here is an update on what's going on.....

BRISTOL STREET WIDENING ST. ANDREW PLACE to MCFADDEN

The city of Santa Ana is excited to get the construction of this projectunderway and is proud to say that the project is "UNDER CONSTRUCTION"

The project will be built in the following 5 phases with an estimated overall duration of 15 months.

Phase ONE July, 2000

the first phase will consist of constructing improvements behind the existing curbs on both the east side and the west side of Bristol St. and will also include the construction of the improvements on St. Andrew Place west of Bristol St. . The parking lot construction on the eastside of Bristol north of Ediger Ave. will also begin in this phase.

Phase TWO February 2001

The next phase will consist of shifting the traffic on Bristol Street to the east and construction improvements on the west side of Bristol St. except work already done in phase One.

Phase THREE May 2001

The third phase will consist of shifting traffic to the newly constructed west side and construction improvements on the east side of Bristol Street.

Phase FOUR July 2001

will consist of shifting the traffic to the newly constructedoutside lanes of Bristol Street and constructing the new raised landscaped median

Phase FIVE September 2001

The last phase will consist of final paving of Bristol Street and final landscaping through out the corridor
