The City Disserves a Community!

The Facts

1. Mr. Robinson was voted out of office in June 2004.
2. Mr. Robinson refused to turn over equipment and records belonging to the association.
3. Mr. Robinson empties the association’s treasure.
4. The neighborhood association voted to investigate all matters concerning Mr. Robinson's actions while president of the association.
5. The previous secretary advises the association of how an illegal act had taken place concerning the Memorial Park estate project.
6. The association takes a vote to investigate the Memorial Park Estates Project.
7. Mr. Robinson begins to spread lies and deceit throughout the community and becomes jealous when the new officer's of the association builds active membership to well over 40 members.
8. The wireman’s attend first meeting and become totally rude and disrespectful during meeting and is advised that association starts meeting on time and ends on time and any concerns they had would be address during the next meeting.
9. President and Vice President meet with councilman to discuss issue of Mr. Robinson.
10. President tries to arrange mediation session (never takes place because mediator never returns call to verify time and place.)
11. Mr. Robinson starts to illegally distribute a news letter while using a name, for the newsletter, which also belongs to the Memorial Park neighborhood.
12. Mr. Robinson calls several illegal meetings to try and have the newly elected president stripped from office.
13. Official President Calls meeting and ask police to be present (in case of problems) to address issues, meeting gets heated and is abruptly dismissed when resident becomes angry over Mr. Robinson’s lies and accusations, police weren’t present, because they had to leave to attend another association’s meeting. City Advocate is present makes presentation and advises neighborhood to vote on issues to clarify issues.
14. The official president calls second meeting to address all issues, and because of Mr. Robinson’s actions general body decides to vote on two issues: one vote is taken for the neighborhood to have only 1 association and that association would be as its always been the Memorial Park Neighborhood Assoc. Inc. and another vote giving the president a vote of confidence. (City Area Advocate advised of vote)
15. Meeting closes with the understanding that the association would leave the past behind and welcome everyone to participate in the association, and so long as dues were paid all members would remain in good standing.
16. Mr. Robinson continues to spread lies and rumors in neighborhood, it’s also discovered that he’s also been collecting dues while using name that belongs to Memorial Park Neighborhood Association.
17. Association writes Mr. Robinson a letter requesting that he stop collecting dues and turn over all monies collected, stop publishing newsletter and involving himself in neighborhood business that should only be handled by the neighborhood’s association.
18. Mr. Robinson refuses and association is left with no alternative but to take Mr. Robinson to court.
