Get involved with the community
You are living in
Have a Voice in the community that you are
Doing business in
Rise and Stand for the community that you
Worshiping in
Lend a Hand in the community that you are
Educated in.
Your Community and Your Neighborhood Association Needs You!
What?¡?¯s Going On!
The Memorial Park Neighborhood is busy identifying a mission, formulating a vision, and setting goals to determine its future, through the creation of a clear and practical strategy, which is establishing a plan for community growth that shall not seat on a desk, or in a cabinet collecting dust, but rather This Plan shall be used, so that the entire community will continue grow to meet its vision of safety, peace, and prosperity for Everyone!
Please Note:
Due to the Work that we are doing on the community?¡?¯s Strategic Plan-
The Association is now meeting Twice a Month
Meetings are held on the:
First and Third Tuesday of each month
Meetings are taking place at:
Indiana Institute of Technology (IIT)
In the:
Abbott Center (Building with the Clock) 1st left turn off of Washington onto campus.
Main Door is located at the south end of building.
From: 6:30 till 8:00 p.m.

Please Note:

That on August the 30th in the year nineteen hundred and eighty two, thanks to the dedication and hard work of some neighborhood residence, the Memorial Park Neighborhood Association received its official certification of incorporation, and it is through this great tradition of care, concern, and consideration for the community that we the present elected officers and executive board members of the Memorial Park Neighborhood Association would like to clarify that:

Number 1:
There is only One Neighborhood Association that represents the common area of the city commonly referred too and known as Memorial Park and that legal entity is:
Memorial Park Neighborhood Association Inc.

Number 2:
There is only One official entity authorized to publish a monthly Memorial Park associational newsletter and that is legal entity is:
Memorial Park Neighborhood Association Inc.

Number 3:
There is only One official entity authorized to call and/or hold monthly association meetings on behalf of addressing any and all past, present, and/or future concerns of the Memorial Park community and that legal entity is:
Memorial Park Neighborhood Association Inc.

Number 4:
There is only One official entity that is to represent and/or address any and all issues that affect the Memorial Park community rather on a local, state or national level and that legal entity is:
Memorial Park Neighborhood Association Inc.

Number 5:
There is only One official entity authorized to establish and/or collect associational dues within the Memorial Park community and that legal entity is:
Memorial Park Neighborhood Association Inc.

Furthermore, let it now be known that: as the elected officials and executive board members of the Memorial Park Neighborhood Association it is our sworn obligation to preserve and protect the rich history of our community as we represent the citizens of our community and strive to better our entire neighborhood.

While we fully understand that it is virtually impossible to satisfy all of the people all of the time, we also recognize that we can not and will not let the deceptive, cruel, and unjust acts of a few destroy and/or stop the positive progressive growth of our community. Nor will we or should you allow any one or any thing to stand in the way of your participation in the associations unified efforts to turn thoughts into positive dreams, positive dreams into progressive visions, and progressive visions into productive realities!

As we work to better up our community, we as human beings have a very unique and awesome ability to agree to disagree. Yet, it is very sad to see that there are those who would rather seek to create dissension where there is none and work to tear down and pull apart our community and association, rather than to unify and build it up. But for the record, we?¡?¯d simply like to announce that as a unified community and association we have decided to face and embrace whatever obstacles may come our way with a steadfast determination to use them as just another opportunity to make our entire community and association that much more positive, progressive, and productive!
