Some of us have received a notice in the mail recently stating that our property taxes have been increased for the year. If you lived in the neighborhood last year, you might remember that property taxes went up last year as well. You can appeal !! To do so you must mail a letter to the Gwinnett Board of Assessors within 30 days of receiving your notice. If you do not file a written appeal in 30 days, you lose your right to appeal.
