When are they finally going to open up the back area of the park, it's been almost a year since the flood. Persons need to contact your county commissioner and tell him to get the ball rolling on opening up the back area. It gets pretty packed there on weekends with only the front area opened.

I agree with your comments, but who exactly do we need to contact. There should also be more Bexar County patrols in the park more often or at least have the City Park Rangers pass by once in a while. Also the instructions for reserving the pavillons could be posted somewhere near the entrance so the community could make more use of the facilities. How much would it cost the county to black top the walking/jogging path since this would be more benificial to the health of the users (less inpact on the feet).

That is a very nice park. Need some kind of organization to go to bat. And get that commissioner to get that park clean up. ASAP
