Dear Helen,

I try to cover all the sites every week and I noticed your message naming Al and myself. Although I take no credit myself, I try to add comments as I see fit. Al developed this site for the benefit of St. Andrews Sub Division. He excluded Ocean Beach Estates which was cause and effect to involve my contribution since I reside with-in OBE.

Yes, I agree with you that flyers would be of some benefit to get people to realize that this site is here. But that also costs $$ to have them printed and then mailed to every mail patron out here, including OBE. Al has suggested that I make a ''sister'' site, but I'm not sure of that. Sure...it's free. But sometimes it's hard to get people to accept and contribute to something like this.

Nice to meet you

I met Helen yesterday because of this website. She remarked that it was like she already knew me from the discussions. That's good. We then shared more about our lives, and I found that Helen is now living in Moscow, travels a good bit, and her son's family still resides near the fire station. I was interested in learning more about what she has learned in her travels, and my wife wanted to know if she had seen one of those Russian nesting dolls made to look like Elvis because a friend of her's is a fan. But, there was not enough time.

I hope Helen stays in touch and I hope this web site will provide more opportunity to meet my thoughtful and community-minded neighbors like Helen.

I am guilty and will admit it. I have not been on this Web Site for quite sometime, or, at least not since I was with Gulf Park Estates Fire Department. (I am now with Fontainebleau Volunteer Fire Department)
Since I am now Vice President of the Home Owners Association, I see alot of things that need discussing, and hope to be an active Executive Board Member during my year tenure. I hope that others as well will not just be active with this Web site but will also seriously considering becoming a Member of our Association. It would be beneficial to us all.
