Maplewood Community Association

Our dues are minimal for the benefits.  I do know that we have some neighbors whether due to health or financial reasons are unable to pay the annual dues.  If neighbors are forthcoming about their difficulties to pay, should they be granted a waiver of dues by the Board for that year?  By a waiver of dues, the Board agrees not to seek collection of unpaid dues for that year in consideration for of a written request for such a hardship waiver. The waiver would still allow for participation in association events but any cash prizes would be reduced by the dues amount waived. What are your thoughts?
