The funds to renovate Clark Park and Pool are contingent upon the passage of bonds in the November 4, 2008 election.
Why should we renovate this park and pool then you ask.
To keep our neighborhoods alive! As our neighborhoods age, if we want to keep our neighborhood a neighborhood, we MUST take action to make them attractive to young couples and young families. What is an ammenity that famililes look for, A safe, clean, vibrant park with activities for all ages. There are many selling points for our Tempe neighborhood; close to jobs, close to light rail, close to entertainment, close to freeways, etc. Why not take full advantage of all the perks we have and make a safe, clean, active, vibrant park and pool!
Remember to keep our neighborhood in mind when you vote on November 4!
