MP Park

Sep 15, 2000

Many MP residents have complained about street people sleeping, urinating and leaving food and other debris in the MP Park.
In a letter dated July 19, 2000 MP Management wrote ?“The park on 43rd Street is a public area. As long as non-residents are not doing anything illegal and are not creating a nuisance, there is no basis to have anyone removed. Security pays particular attention to the park at this time of year. The drinking of alcohol is not tolerated, nor is lying down or sleeping.?”
It should be noted that, on more than one occasion, people have been seen lying down and sleeping while the Security Guards stood by doing nothing. (Photos)
