Members asked for a recap of the history of Manhattan Plaza, the ownership and the creation of Section 8 as it relates to the impending, possible, opt-out by the owners this coming spring.
There was also a lengthy discussion of the recertification irregularities, specifically related to published deductions currently being disallowed on a random basis. The MPTA explained that all documented issues previously submitted to the MPTA are currently being looked into in Washington. All residents of MP who have had unresolved recertification problems are encouraged to write up their case and leave it in the MPTA mailbox for immediate forwarding to Washington
