A Brand New Year

This is our first attempt to enter a community newsletter. Hopefully things will go well as a result of this program.

There is another option for elderly care in our neighborhood. On Mays Drive, right near the hospital, sits a brand new Assisted Living Facility. This one came about because of the effort put forth by Mack and Gwen Willis, an African-American couple. The facility is open and invites your patronage.

Looks like we will get new neighbors on Oackrest Drive soon.

If there is something that should be shared, please don't hesitate to call.

Our neighborhood schools are stressing character this school year. If you would like to serve as a role model, or can share with students examples of character in action, please contact West Manor, Young or Mays. Volunteers are needed on an ongoing basis.
