10 PM Teen Curfew Coming to Charlotte, NC
The changes begin Nov. 1.
Exceptions include:
- When accompanied by a parent or authorized adult
- Running errands
- Going to or from work
- Attending or traveling to/from an official activity sponsored by a school, the City, or a Civic organization
Police asked for the curfew in response to teen takeovers but say they will not criminalize teenagers.
