Free Mulch

Tulsans can get mulch or drop off yard wastes at 3300 N. Yale.

Tulsans who need to get mulch for yards or gardens or who wish to dispose of greenwastes can do so at the City of Tulsa's wood-chipping site at 3300 N. Yale Ave. The site is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week, except on City of Tulsa holidays.

The City formerly operated two wood-chipping sites, but one has been closed as a cost-saving measure. All chipping operations are now at the 3300 N. Yale site.

Individuals can get wood-chip mulch at the site by loading it into their own vehicles or containers.

Tulsa residents ( who have a recent City of Tulsa utility bill stub, or a driver's license with a Tulsa address) can drop off yard wastes, including grass, leaves and tree or shrub trimmings.
