WOW we did it!!
Volunteers from Loretto High School, CSUS, the Sacramento Tree Foundation, and our neighbors planted 35 trees! The picnic in the park was great. Thank you to all who helped and joined us in the celebration! The new trees were approx 6-8 ft tall. You can see them when you drive around the neighborhood especially on Madera, Santa Anita, and Lloyd. They are the new trees that are staked and have a large mulch donut around the base. Our next tree planting will be in October. If you have an infested tree that is pretty much dead, call the county to have them remove it if it is within the easement.
