Pinewood had two students step in dog waste during a recent fire drill. If you are not cleaning up after your dogs and using the park you know who you are. Stop being irresponsible and clean up. Most neighbors are doing the right thing and cleaning up, and keeping your dogs on leash.
If this contiues animals will be banned from the grounds and violators will be reported to animal control.

While I agree that residents need to clean up after their dogs as well as keep them on leash, the fact that there is no trash can in the park has been and will continue to be an issue. The more convenient it is for people to dispose of the waste once it is picked up, the more people will comply. CMS and the city have apparently stated that they will not be responsible for emptying any trash cans that are placed in the park, but multiple residents and neighbors have volunteered to help.
Rather than saying pets will be banned from the grounds, the effort should be put in to get at least a single trash can in the park. |

You must not read our minutes. We are putting in a single can in the ROW along Seneca Place. CMS does not want any cans on their grounds. CDOT granted permission to install one in the ROW at our request, not CMS!
The ban will come from CMS not Madison Park. They own the land not us.
We have asked people to keep their dogs on leashes and to clean up. Most do but some simply don't ever. It is no difference than walking your dogs along the streets and not cleaning up.
The school dos not want the mess on their property. You really can't blame them. The HOA has to do what CMS allows. This one single can is being installed by Parks and Recreation.

VP Means did arrange for Poop bag dispenser to be attached to the post when it is installed. The HOA will furnish the bags for both trash and the dispenser. |
