National Do Not Call Registry

Residential phone customers who wish to reduce the number of telemarketing calls they receive may add their telephone numbers to the national Do Not Call Registry. After 3 months, customers on the Registry should experience a reduction in unwanted calls.

To Register your home or mobile phone number for free, call 1-800-382-1222 from the phone you wish to register. For more information, to register by the Internet, or to file a complaint with Attorney General Roy Cooper, go to www.nocallsnc.com or call 1-877.5-NOSCAM (566-7226).
