What the %@#!! Is A CashKey, Anyway?

Jun 15, 2000

They've been around for a while and still it's hard to picture what it is -and what it does (and why we should care). But the CashKey is a parking help -at least if never having quarters is your problem.
The City of Denver Division of Parking Management recently implemented the CashKey that is programmed when you "buy" time for it. Then you insert it into a keyhole located next to the coin slot on the meter -and, for each insertion of the key, 25 cents is deducted from your key balance and time is added to the meter.
CashKeys are available at the Parking Management Division. Call ahead for details and location at 720-913-1737.
