Art evolves - and exhibits emerge. Enjoy these additions at LoDo galleries:

One of the leading abstract painters of this region, Trine Bumiller, will be showing her new paintings at the Robischon Gallery (located at 1740 Wazee St.) January 8 through February 26. Her work will be joined with prints from Judy Pfaff, an internationally known sculptor and pioneer of installation art. The opening reception is January 20 from 6pm to 8pm.

More new regional art will be opening at Ron Judish Fine Arts (located at 1617 Wazee Street). Stephen Batura and William Stockman, the two foremost "young turks" of the art scene will be showing their work from January 8 through February 19. The opening reception is January 13 from 6pmto 9pm.

Other local exhibits include The West: New Ways/Old Visions, a show that features the art of 16 artists from Colorado, New Mexico and Germany. The exhibit, sponsored by McCormick's Fish House and Bar and XBX and hosted by the Metro State: Center for the Visual Arts 9located at 1734 Wazee St.) runs from January 14 through February 26 and LDDI members are invited to a private opening reception on January 13.
