LDDI Committees Get to Work!

What have we done-or not done-for you lately? You still
have time to turn in a Membership Survey and let us know.
Call Shelley O'Neill at 303-628-5482.

In the next issue of LoDown, the Membership Committee will
tally your responses and report on the survey findings.
While that committee tallies, the Urban Design Committee
will talk. The group moved the May meeting to the end of
June and plans to discuss the City Planning Office's
Streetscape Plan for LoDo. Details to follow.

Meanwhile, the Arts and Culture Committee met with gallery
owners to discuss ways LDDI can help our LoDo galleries
flourish. Any ideas? Call Dan du Bois at 303-628-5424.

Throughout June, the Special Events Committee also discussed
ways to promote LoDo. The group held a series of meetings
that focused on the action behind the action, especially the
upcoming 1999 Fox Sports News LoDo Games. (See front page
for more information about the activities of the Lodo
games.)

Participating in the LoDo Games is a great way to raise
funds for LDDI and its efforts-and raise awareness of your
own organization. In each of the five levels of possible
involvement, your business or group will have "visibility"
opportunities that range from full banners and booths to
listings in "day of event" materials. And with
participation levels that range from $250 to $5,000,
sponsoring the Lodo Games fits the needs of groups of all
sizes.

Need motivators for ten would-be team members? Tell them
that in addition to prizes, they'll also receive two "free"
beer tokens and refreshments after they compete!

Find out how your team can get involved-and receive an
application-by calling Dan du Bois at 303-628-5424.
