Councilman Dee Andrews appeals to Long Beach Residents for help: Family suffers another loss

On Saturday January 15th Ms. Blance Dearmas age 19 passed away at Long Beach Memorial hospital. She leaves behind two sisters and her mother. She will be remembered for he smile, good humor and her strength for her family.

Ms. Dearmas was the sister of Daisy Duran who lost three children due to a fire in an illegally converted garage in central Long Beach.

''This family is undergoing a tremendous burden emotionally and financially. They have nothing but the love and support of family and friends. As a community we need to come together during this time and offer our condolences and support this family. The community of Long Beach has no boundaries. The family needs to provide funeral arrangements for Blanca in order to begin putting their lives back together again. Please help.''
