Greetings,
I recently moved in on San Fernando Way, and this past week a young cat (black and white), who's very friendly (has a very queit, scrathy "meow"), but has no collar and is fairly skinny, has been stopping by and hanging out on our front steps. I don't at all have a problem with a cat hanging around, but my indoor cat feel differently, as she's not keen on other animals. She has a front row window seat to the goings-on in the front yard, and the sight of another cat hanging around freaks her out to no end.
I don't know if the cat is a stray, or just a neighbor's outdoor cat. I occasionally volunteer for a pet adoption group (A Different Breed) and, before I consider finding a way to get the little one somewhere to check him/her out and possible put up for adoption, I'm trying to find a way to find out if it's someone's pet and not a stray.
Any ideas?
Thanks much,
Mark Merritt
