Last night (Saturday) someone walked thru my yard, thru the snow, and tried to look in my garage window. So please be sure to lock your garages and homes. It's the season to break in and steal. I happen to have steel bars on my windows so it would be hard to squeeze in the few inches that would be available if they broke the window.
But there were footsteps in the snow and they surely were looking for something.

Someone here too...
Lasr week Monday, our neighbor called and left a message on our machine. They are at 538 N. 40th I believe. (Bob's old place.) Their garage lock had been tampered with. I am sorry I didn't mention this sooner. Then on Sunday when I was doing my walks in the back I noticed something odd. On Saturday when we got home, we ran to the house through the new snow. Sunday though there were foot steps going up to the garage door. We never went back out after we went in. This means someone tried our door on the garage. There were also footsteps going to the front of the house. We never went that way Saturday night and the way the snow fell after we got home, it had to have been after about 1 or 2 in the a.m. So, keep an eye open.

That same night someone wrot gibberish in small letterson a garage on yoiur alley Janet...the owner reported it to police and cleaned it up
