Lincoln Neighborhood Community Alliance

8th District Small World Garden

Picture

History

Developed and supported by youth and adult volunteers, the Small World Garden is a Lincoln Neighborhood treasure located on the corner of 65th Street and 15th Avenue. The garden was dedicated to the community and was designed to symbolize the diversity of the Lincoln Neighborhood by having flowers planted from all over the world.

Recently

In July 2006, the Small World Garden was selected to be part of the Four Seasons' Kenosha Secret Garden Tour; it was the only community garden included in the tour.

Volunteer

The Small World Garden is maintained by neighborhood volunteers, and we are always looking for interested gardeners. For more information about volunteering, please contact the UW-Extension Neighborhood Team at the e-mail address below.
