What are your rights as a dog owner and the way they bark in the back yard? Do you have any rights if someone is complaining about a dog who spends as much as an hour all week of free time in the back yard? I have an indoor dog who is only taken on walks to get outside. she sleeps indoors and stays indoors during our work time. She is very happy dog and gets along just fine. A neighbor has complained that because of our location in the area and the fact that she cannot see in the backs of yards because of all the trees that it has come from us. There are many dogs in the neigborhood that spend their time barking and I do not feel I am entitled to entertain this womans notion that I am the "Abuser" of my animal. Should I concern myself with the Threats this woman has made? Should I seek council to prepare for court should she file a blind complaint? Thank you.
