THANKS! to everyone who joined us for the Second Annual Baseline Crossing Picnic. 12 families were able to join us this year (compared to 18 last year). When I was handing out the invitations, a number of people told me they would be out of town, or otherwise unable to attend, so I suspected attendance would be lower. But, we all had a nice visit, the kids enjoyed playing at the playground, and the food was delicious!
I'm open to suggestions for the date for next year's get-together. The first Tuesday night of August each year is ''National Night Out'' - when cities encourage neighborhoods to sponsor some kind of function to get to know each other. I'd be willing to plan something for a Tuesday night, but would like to know what other people think.
I'd also like to thank the Safeway up on Arapahoe Rd. for their kind donation of paper goods and ice cream for the party!

Thanks Christy

Thanks Christy for organising this event. You did a get job and we enjoyed meeting everybody. The boys loved the desserts, especially the ice-cream!
Thanks a million.
