''The Fresh Stop Project''

Dec 14, 2009

In partnership with New Roots Inc., LAMP is once again bringing fresh produce to the Newburg and Petersburg area in District 2 and District 10.

This is a cooperative initiative founded by New Roots to bring fresh produce to food desert communities. The residents pool their money together to buy fresh produce at wholesale prices. Each share feeds at least three people and the cost for each share is $12. You may purchase as many shares as you like. Scholarships are available for income eligible shareholders.

The Fresh Stop will be held on Friday, December 18, 2009, hosted by Newburg Apostolic Church, 4716 E. Indian Trail, Pastor Waverly Holland.

The initiative is open to the public and you are invited to be a shareholder, volunteer, and a supporter of this great initiative.
