We are interested in adding a garage to our home. It is costly and probably won't happen right away but....we are looking for any info/advice and recommendation for professionals, etc. Also, we need to find out about zoning/building codes. Can you refer me to any info, make suggestions?

I know you posted this back in Jan but in case you are still looking we added a detached 2 1/2 car garage though Tuff Shed back in 2002 and it was around 12,000.00. They did an amazing job and it only took 2 days.

Several people in the neighborhood have used www.newgarage.net and I think they were all pleased with the price, process and final product. But I don't think they are as cheap as tuff shed, but then again it's not prefab. They can also match the garage to your house if you want. Who ever you use be sure to check the BBB
